The entire argument of my articles is that Eklof did distort through omission and getting his facts wrong. Had he included these perspectives, his thesis would be at least complicated, if not moot. I’ve never argued that Eklof was not writing an argumentative essay, but, when one is responding to an argumentative essay, one must provide one’s own perspective, facts, and opinions. You commit a fundamental error if you dismiss those perspectives out of hand.
